Dual Degrees: The MAIA program has two dual degree programs available. Students interested in pursuing a dual degree are strongly encouraged to review the admissions requirements for both programs, the curriculum, and the time commitment required to complete a dual degree program. Currently, our program offers a Master of Arts in International Administration (MAIA) and Master of Public Health (MPH) dual degree, and a Master of Arts in International Administration (MAIA) and Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Certificate in Security Management: The Certificate in Security Management is designed to prepare administrators of public and private organizations to meet multidimensional security challenges in the post-9/11 world. From threats posed by violent human actions to natural disasters and data security, management in times of acute crisis demands a unique array of insights and skills. The certificate program is grounded in an academic, theoretical, understanding of security problems and emergency management strategies. It also emphasizes the development of the practitioner’s arts within the strategic, tactical and operational realms of security administration.
