Master of Arts in International Administration (MAIA) and Master of Public Health (MPH)

The Master of Arts in International Administration/Master in Public Health (MAIA/MPH) degree is offered jointly by the University of Miami College of Arts and Sciences and the Miller School of Medicine’s Department of Public Health Sciences. The International Administration degree with a second master’s degree in Public Health is designed for students who seek an in-depth knowledge of public health with a broader emphasis in globalization and health, international health, international health policy and international development.

Applicants must be admitted into the MAIA and MPH Programs on a separate basis, based on the admissions requirements and procedure of each individual program. Acceptance by one program does not in any way indicate or guarantee acceptance by the other degree program. Both the MAIA and the MPH degree programs require the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) as part of the admissions requirements. For students whose native language is not English, successful completion the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination is required.
